Alissa and Dennis Maness founded Arrow Athletics to Jackson in 2019. Their mission is for Arrow Athletics to inspire families and impact our community to embrace an active lifestyle and overall wellness while forging deeper bonds through fun filled activities. They love the impact that Arrow Athletics is making in West Tennessee and pray to build a legacy through Arrow to reach a trillion people!
Gymnastics & Special Events Coordinator
Nicole is our Gymnastics Team Coordinator, All-star Cheer Team Coordinator, Special Event Coordinator and Recreational Lead Coordinator. She has been part of Arrow Athletics Since 2019. Nicole has been involved in the gymnastics, All-star cheer, school cheer, and hip-hop specialties as a competitor since childhood and has coached for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Florida where she was a Gator cheerleader (CHOMP CHOMP).
Nicole graduated with her early childhood degree and has applied that in every aspect of her life. Coach Nicole looks to Joshua 1:9, as her inspiration. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Staff Advocate
Ashley McCrary serves as Staff Advocate and Human Resources Coordinator. Her role allows her to collaborate, advocate & bring solutions with an innovative team full of next generation leaders! She is a licensed minister and has a diverse background in advocacy across different sectors, making her uniquely qualified for this position. Ms. Ashley says “My personal mission is to activate each soul to G.O.: It’s God Ordained!“

Adult Fitness, Marketing & Community Events Coordinator
Quinetta Latham joined Arrow Athletics in 2023, bringing a wealth of expertise as a fitness accountability coach, dance instructor, and branding and marketing professional. Known for her upbeat and energetic presence, she serves as the Adult Fitness Coordinator and Marketing Consultant. Her favorite part of the job is helping to build, support, and expand the vision of Arrow Athletics while empowering individuals to break barriers in their minds and bodies, creating stronger, healthier versions of themselves. Fitness and wellness are not just her profession—they’re her passion and way of life. Her dedication to building connections and shaping the fitness culture makes her a dynamic force at Arrow Athletics, inspiring everyone she works with to reach their full potential.
Martial Arts & Marketing Coordinator
Anthony Jones has been part of the Arrow Athletics team since April 2021, bringing over 15 years of training and competition experience. As a 2nd-degree Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt under Brian “The Law” Hall, a professional MMA fighter, boxer, and Jiu Jitsu competitor, Anthony has a proven track record of excellence. His MMA coaching record speaks for itself—26-9 with 7 championship wins in just the last three years.
Anthony’s favorite part of coaching is helping people discover their inner strength through martial arts. He’s driven by a passion for empowering others—and, of course, winning!
Pre-School Gymnastics & Marketing
Coordinator
Chelsey Ervin has played a vital role at Arrow Athletics since 2021. She is our Preschool Gymnastics and Social Media Coordinator. She also supports our coordinators and admin team with day to day operations. Coach Chelsey has a background in early childhood education as well the culinary arts with a focus in meal planning, nutrition, and sports performance diets. Her favorite thing about Arrow is the personal connections she makes and supporting families in their wellness journeys.
Cheer Team Coordinator
Annakel McGlinchey serves as a Head Cheer Coach at Arrow Athletics, where she combines her passion for cheerleading and coaching to inspire the next generation of athletes. With over a decade of cheer experience, including six national titles, Annakel brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her role. Her journey has included two years with Glory Allstars, three years of school cheer at JCS, and five years at Arrow Athletics.
Beyond coaching, Annakel is a vibrant part of our adult fitness program, where she also teaches Pilates. Annakel’s favorite part of her job is being a meaningful piece of each athlete's larger journey, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals.
Aerial Arts & Dance Coordinator
Amanda Scott has been an integral part of Arrow Athletics since 2021. She serves as our Aerial Arts Coordinator and Dance program coordinator. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Dance. Amanda has also lived and taught dance in Turkey and Germany. Coach Amanda says “I hope to continue to inspire young artistic athletes. I strive to continue to find new ways to get better, get stronger, learn more and never settle.”
School Age Gymnastics Coordinator
Grace Cooper joined Arrow Athletics in the fall of 2022, bringing her passion for gymnastics to the team. With eight years of experience in gymnastics, six years as a competitive gymnast and two years in recreational classes, Grace developed a deep appreciation for the sport. She graduated from Union University in the fall of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, further enhancing her ability to support and inspire her students.
Grace’s favorite part of her role is forming meaningful relationships with her athletes, encouraging them to push their limits, and helping them achieve their goals and dreams.
Matt Hicks has 15 years of experience in Judo, beginning his journey at Evolution Martial Arts in McKenzie, TN, and receiving his black belt in 2018. Recognized by the United States Judo Association as a Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt), Matt has been coaching since 2018 and is SafeSport and HeadsUp certified. His favorite part of coaching is seeing students, from age 3 to 99, improve and become stronger, always encouraging them to be better than he is. His passion is in nurturing both strong minds and strong bodies, with the belief that growth is for everyone. #StrongMindStrongBody
