Dennis & Alissa Maness
Nicole has been involved in the cheer, gymnastics, and hip-hop specialties as a competitor since childhood and has coached for over 17 years. She graduated from the University of Florida where she was a Gator cheerleader. Nicole graduated with her early childhood degree and has applied that in every aspect of her life. She is also very involved in SoulQuest Church as a part of the worship team and dinner groups. She is a mother of 1, stepmother of 3 and wife to her husband Jason Glancy. In 2013 they moved from Cincinnati, Ohio and made Jackson, TN their new home. In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family & friends on the river.
Christina Parks is the first smiling face you see at the front desk when you enter Arrow Athletics. She is so gifted in organization, and serving people. Christina is our Lead Office Member. Her greatest joy is our Lord and her family. She and her husband, Dall, have two children, Aubrey and Morgan, who also are members of the Arrow staff team. Christina lives just outside of Madison County and annually travels out West on a mission trip. We are blessed to have her on the Arrow Team.
Gordon is a full-time staff member of the Arrow Athletics family and is also our Judo Specialist with 20 years of experience. He is a father of 9 children and married to his beautiful bride, Emmi. In his free time, Gordon enjoys hunting, fishing, horseback riding and martial arts.
Anthony "AJ" Jones
Anthony “AJ” is Arrow Athletics’ Fightshop Coordinator. He is the head coach of our Brazilian Ju Jitsu program and Hub City MMA team. AJ has over 13 years of experience competing and coaching in MMA, boxing, and Jiu jitsu. He was born and raised in Memphis TN, where he returned to train for many years under UFC Coach, Brian Hall. Outside of martial arts AJ is also the Minister of Music at his church, The Hope Center. He and his wife, Jessica, share two sons, Samson, and Elliot.
Morgan is our Ninja Coordinator and the assistant coach for our Judo program. He has been a part of the Arrow family for the past 2 years. His goal is to help athletes realize their full potential while having fun reaching it. He also has a passion for improving his own skills in ninja and martial arts to help him train more effectively. He enjoys bodybuilding, hiking, kayaking, and roping. He loves spending time with his family and friends.
Stacey Elliot & Jill Zamora Smith
She has a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and has returned to West TN from Cape Coral, Florida. She has a background in Special Education and has worked as a remedial reading and math teacher for struggling students. She is a mother of four boys. She and her husband, Jeff, have been married for over 30 years. Her philosophy is “children learn best in an environment that allows exploration and learning through hands-on experiences purposefully created by the teacher and conducive to learning. Children don’t have to feel like they are being taught; they can learn naturally through experiences and from one another.”
Jill Zamora Smith
Jill has a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Florida. She has worked in various positions & with many different age groups in the field of education. She is a wife & a mother of two beautiful children who excel in competitive horseback riding and Baseball. Any chance she can get she is there cheering her children on to excel in whatever endeavor they choose. Jill also enjoys loving on and taking care of the 4-legged members of their family as well.
She is a former competitive gymnast, soccer player, and college cheerleader. She has over ten years of experience teaching group fitness and has a passion for helping others find overall wellness in community with others. She leads a talented group of highly talented instructors who are skilled in a variety of teaching techniques. Alecia and the Hub City instructors emphasize a welcoming environment that encourages everyone to join them no matter their fitness level. Outside the gym she stays busy with her two boys and enjoys traveling with her husband when time allows.
Amanda is from Port Saint Lucie, Florida. She has received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis in Dance. She has directed and taught in other countries such as Turkey and Germany while her husband served in the United States Air Force. While living in Charleston South Carolina she picked up the athletic sport of aerial arts in aerial silks and aerial hoop. She has been instructing dance for 16 years and aerial silks for 3 years. Amanda also enjoys spending time with her fur babies.
Aubrey is our Preschool Coordinator and helps coach in our tumbling program. She has been part of the Arrow family for the past 2 years. She enjoys helping our little athletes gain confidence and become more independent in their skills and personalities. Aubrey also is very creative and enjoys anything to do with art. She also enjoys working out and outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. Spending time with her family is very important to her.
